What is the cancellation policy?
We understand there are times when conditions and circumstances change, which may result in a need to reschedule your reservation. We will do our best to facilitate those request based on room availability.
Should you need to cancel a reservation, please make note of the following timelines: Reservations must be cancelled 14 days in advance for a full refund of your deposit. Reservations cancelled within 72 hours of your scheduled meeting will forfeit the deposit. Reservations cancelled within 24 hours of your scheduled meeting will be invoiced in full, as it will keep us from providing that space for another client on such short notice.Back to Index
Does GETS offer catering?

Where is the closest airport?
GETS is conveniently located less than 10 minutes away from Charleston’s Yeager Airport. There are multiple car rental operators, as well as complimentary hotel shuttles and taxis available to travelers who need to make the quick trip from the airport. Do I need to make a deposit when I reserve a room?
All of our meeting spaces require a 50% deposit upon reservation, with the balance due on or before the day of your meeting.Back to Index
Does GETS offer discounts?

Does GETS allow smoking?
GETS is a fully tobacco-free facility. There are designated smoking areas outside.Back to Index
Where do I park?
Parking is provided for free, both in front and to the right of GETS, as well as a half block to the east of Smith Street (just past Hidden Trails Motor Sports and before Pugh Furniture). If the parking spaces in front of GETS are full, please do not park on the left side of the building, which is the Contemporary Galleries parking lot. Instead, please use the overflow parking close by, as indicated by the map below.

What are weekend and evening hours?
If you are not able to hold your meeting during traditional business hours, GETS will accommodate you in the evening or on Saturdays (we believe Sunday should be a day of rest). Each of the four meeting rooms within GETS is fully equipped with everything you need for a productive meeting, including: projector and screen, clicker, speakers, flipcharts and markers, white board, notepads & pens, extension cords, WiFi access, conference phone, copies, room set-up, coffee service, light snacks and beverages, and parking.Back to Index
What if I need more time?
With Full Day* reservations, there’s no need to worry if your meeting is running a little later than planned. It’s unlikely anyone would be booked into the SPACE for the evening.
With a Half-Day* morning reservation, it’s possible another party may have the same room booked for the afternoon. In that case, we would alert you prior to your meeting day, so you would be aware of the need to finish on time. In the case of a Half-Day reservation with no one else booked into the room after your meeting, you will not incur any additional fees, unless your meeting runs more than an hour longer than planned; at that point, your reservation would be considered a Full Day.
*Note: a Full Day is considered 8 hours; a Half-Day is 4 hours. We understand it takes some time to unwind and gather one’s things following the end of meeting. It’s not our expectation you and your team are out the door instantly following the end of your meeting!Back to Index
What is the facilitator cost?
Our facilitation experts provide a variety of services, and the investment will depend on what level of service you need for your meeting. For that reason, there is not a set price on facilitation. Once you indicate you’d like to explore your facilitator options, we’ll connect you and you’ll be able to outline your needs and the facilitator will provide you with a fee for service.Back to Index
What snacks are included?
Each meeting space includes stocked beverage refrigerators with bottled water, soda, juice, and tea, In addition, we provide coffee and tea service and single serve snacks such as nuts, candy, granola bars, and protein bars. We also provide plates and flatware so you can enjoy your catered meals in style.Back to Index
